> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Excellent stuff, my friend. Rhythm was tighter than an Englishman's wallet and the tone was nice as well.

During the lead section near the end, it did appear that you had some alternate picking lines that got interrupted when you had to suddenly switch strings, making you play two upstrokes (or down) in a row. You managed it fine without stopping the flow but it might make it awkward for you. It could be a conscious choice in which case my observations don't matter smile.gif

Hi Bleez!

You did a great job with this take! Your playing is very close to be perfect along the whole video.

I also can notice that picking detail that Ben marked, and the first thing that made me pay attention to what was happening is that I noted timing issues here and there in the lead section.
It would be a good idea to take each section, adjust the technique and polish it over a loop or metronome.

Your tone fits great with this lesson, and the energy of your playing makes justice to Red Fang's style.

Keep on rocking!

Very good take Bleez! I could hardly spot anything to fix wink.gif Great tone, good timming and match to the groove. Clean and tight aside from the end where Ben has already spotted problems with string skipping thing. I like how Gab descrivbed your take so I hope he won't mind me borrowing it - "you did justice to Red Fang" smile.gif))
