My main instrument is the saxophone, which I've been playing for 11 years now, but after dabbling a while with a Morgan acoustic guitar, I finally took the step and bought myself an electric and an amp a year ago, after which I discovered GMC. I still consider myself a novice, but have found GMC to be an invaluable source of inspiration and information. A big thanks to all instructors for your great lessons! I currently play on a purple ESP EV-FIN (Emppu Vuorinen signature á la Once and EoE, Finland Limited Edition 2005; Horizon FR variant with golden hardware, STP-finish ) and an Engl Screamer 50 Combo. For modelling and recording purposes I have a POD X3 and a VG-99 (only able to use the amp and effect sims; sadly no space for fitting a GK-3 on my H-S-H ESP, thus no guitar sims). One quick question though (I know this belongs in another part of the forum): As I'm currently trying to cover some Nightwish songs, how would I go forth getting Emppu's tone from the solo in the song 'Nemo' from my current rig?
