Do you mean in the actual neckplate? Or in the wood that is behind the neckplate?

can you supply a picture?

I know there should be hole in the wood (aside from those used to bolt the neck) because they hang the guitar by it when they do the finish.

however, if there is a hole in the neck plate it is hard to judge if it is serious if I can't see it.

I belive that's a second neck adjuster.

EDIT: Oppse to the truss rod screw this is to adjust the neck tilt.

Hi Jesse, exactly as MickeM has said, its for adjusting the Truss rod on that model of Fender, you should have got an allan key that fits the bolt inside when you bought the guitar, adjust with great care! smile.gif

I think it is not a truss rod adjuster, it is a neck angle adjuster. You can adjust the angle of the neck in relation to the body (if you have more space on some side of the strings for example). You should get an allen wrench for that adjustment, and do it very causiously.

Agreed, Ivan.

It is the Micro-tilt, which I was also wondering about what was.
