Just thought I'd step back into the box for a second..... A counry/rock ballad kind of a jam....
Working more on the mixing end of things as well.

Pulled back on the drums...
Compressed the bass and pulled the volume down a bit.

Doubled up on the rythm tracks - copied to a second set of tracks.
One set with a tube compressor effect
The other with an expander

Of course pan'd everything to their own place in the set, at least that was the intention....
Please critic away.....

Really nice melody and really nice playing. I wish it had a little more sparkle, especially on the guitar, where you're getting such great tone. The mood of the music works with the picture also, just my kind of thing. cool.gif

Nice job man. I would prefer a backing with more clarity and defined high end. Kick is kinda lost in the bass guitars on my speakers. I think the solo guitars tone is not suited for this kind of backing, I would prefer something more smoother, and less drive, possibly withouth the wah as well, and maybe some reverb delay to accent the distance/loneliness/road theme.
