Hi,
I am wondering how to get a sound out of my guitar.

For example in this youtube movie at 0,40 the high sound.

I think you'll find that was a pinch harmonic..Look up pinch harmonics on lessons here...there's quite a few.

Headbanger said exactly what was needed - it's just a pinch harmonic - You have to hit the string the way that just after the pick, string is softly touched by the thumb and quickly released.
