I stopped at a local music store today and picked up a used amp. Hughes and Kettner Triamp, got it for a very fair price. I cant get over the clean channel on this high gain monster. Its amazing to say the least.

I cant get over the clean channel on this high gain monster. Its amazing to say the least. This head weighs more than any amp head I have ever picked up. 3 channels, each channel has a sub channel (A/B) so six total (kinda). Seven button foot switch. Built in long pan spring reverb, monster transformers, Looks cool. Its as wide as my 4x12 ohmy.gif . Im wondering if anyone has had experience with this manfacturer and reliability experience. Did i mention 8 yes 8 12ax7's 4 el34's. Im gonna be busy tonight dialing it in.......JOY!

Peace..Happy holidays!

Ahhhh scale those pics down so I can see them biggrin.gif

From everything I've heard, H&K is pretty awesome. I love how they sound based mostly on my experience listening to Thomas Blug.

Actually I use the middle mouse button to scroll in whatever direction, but it might still be a good idea to resize in paint or whatever you use and re-upload the pics, some people have slow connections or any number of things, and its just easier to look at a picture that is smaller.

Congrats, though!

I have
<-----

Only had mine a year so it's too early to talk about it's quality really. But soundwise it's great, great cleans and great hi gain. Mine is very Marshall-like on the lead channel (it got Clean, Crunch, Brit Lead, Ultra) and the crunch channel can go from very kind and nice sound all the way up to boosted into hi-gain territory biggrin.gif
As for clean can boosted to heavy crunch or just brilliantly clean. Very versatile.

I like it a lot cool.gif
