GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ How To Get The Chat Going

Posted by: Kristofer Dahl Jul 26 2007, 10:14 PM

A suggestion on what to do when you feel lonely...

...except for practicing of course! smile.gif

If you want to gather some people in the chat - a suggestion would be to create a topic on this board (the gmc main board). This way people are going to see it on the main page for a while, in their rss feeds etc.

Andrew or I will then delete the topic the day after.

Also, we might move the "active in chat" to the top of the forum.

I think moving the Who's Active in Chat feature is a great idea. I try to look at it when I visit but I often forget.

Is there such a feature? Where? Where?

What I find about the who's active feature is that because most of us surf the boards at the same time as being in chat then we do not get marked as being active there, purely because we're navigating the forums as well. You can have 10 people in the room and only 3 will be marked as actually there. huh.gif
