So this is my current axe that I purchased around october of last year but thought I'd see peoples opinions on. It's got three 490 pickups which I am hoping to replace with two 57' classics and a 57' classic plus. But just thought I'd share seeing how this guitar got discontinued in 2008 so I might as well show it off. It's the most comfortable neck I've ever played because it has no shiny finish. Plus it was a good deal (700 for a real sg ) Anyway I love it. It's a bit like the current Gibson Sg-3 except it's a lower scale version.

Congrats!
I also purchased a new Faded SG Special (twin 490s), I agree on how nice the feel and playability of the neck is.
I am leaving my 490s in it for now, but the 57s are a definite upgrade.
Enjoy it,
Howard
Its awesome that is so comfortable to you...that is the most important factor when buying an instrument ! Looks cool to me , though I never tried it..
Cool, I love SGs, white seems cool too!
