Hey,

I just want to get a bit deeper into transcribing and now I search some easy solos which I could transcribe for the beginning.
Any suggestions ?
Maybe some melodic stuff at first, that isnt too crazy wink.gif

Thanks

How about Eric Johnson's Trademark? Its very melodic, but it does have some fast parts.

Eric Clapton songs, like Wonderful Tonight.
Joe Satriani - Love Thing
Anouk - Nobody's wife, could get a bit fast, but it's all preety much going up and down pentatonic scales.

those should be a good start tongue.gif

Nirvana- Smells like Teen Spirit biggrin.gif
Seriously though, you might check out:
Helloween - A Tale That Wasn't Right
Shawn Lane - Epilogue for Lisa (Although that's more of an instrumental song than a solo)
Any classical stuff maybe? Well it's not excactly what your asking for, but a lot of it is quite melodic and not so hard to pick up ear. smile.gif

Can't be that tricky to find tabs for that one as it's a famous classical piece...
