Hey guys just thought I would let you in on a little project I was working on, I picked up a broken beat up ancient red guitar of unknown make at a yardsale last year and am in the process of restoring it. I've sanded it and restained it ( used to be bring red) and painted a design on it, gutted the electronics and am going to order new internals for it here shortly, here is a pick to date, I wish I had a pic of what it looked like originally. I will keep you posted smile.gif

Looking forward to seeing how this turns out. I started my own project a while ago, but that has been put on hold for a while, as I don't really have any place to continue it after I moved.

Yeah. I moved this summer, and I started doing a few things to an old guitar of mine, but had to stop. I scalloped the neck, got all the paint of etc...re-did the head. Might some day take a look at it again.

Cool! I'd love to get one of those half broken guitars and repair them yourself..

I won't swear to it, but it looks like an early 70's 'Kay' to me!
