Hi i just received an email from Dick Dale he said that he was coming to my country in 2009! He also sendt me a picture of himself and said as a final word: Keep playing, stay clean your body follows your mind Anyone else want to share their experience with famous guitarists?
This picture says it all...
haha looks like Gilbert (it looks like him!)is about to bash your head in!cool photo!
I would be more worried about the many red dot laser sights targeting your guitar!hostile crowd you played infront of
Awesome picture Oxac
Organised, ur spooky, when i read ur post i got an email from myself, NO KIDDING !
Man, its soon halloween and you'r freaking me out
That doesn't only look like Paul Gilbert, it IS Paul Gilbert, furthermore it's not my guitar... It's Pauls guitar, and he's mad at me for stealing it
Also, there were red lights in that room, I was lucky to get such clarity in my picture anyway.
yeahh thought it looked like him, seeing him in concert soon
He's a great guy! You should print that picture out and try to get it signed I know I will do it when I go to see him the next time.
I´m going to meet Paul Gilbert 11th November. I bought a VIP ticket and so he´ll be teaching me for an hour plus I can listen to the soundcheck plus I´ll have a CD+DVD+T-Shirt plus plus plus.
I know Tolek, I went to 2 of them. They were awesome!
Uhmm, no, I think I once dreamed about Jimi Hendrix, maybe he contacted me with his soul, but that's about it with famous musicians
Don't worry, soon we will be able to say.
I am friends with Ivan Milenkovic.
Or One of the instructors will be able to say, "Yes I know Olle "AJ" Svensson, he was a student at GMC"
Hehe, maybe Jose... maybe one day Or maybe we'll all be saying, ya I know Jose Mena. I've played lots of his stuff, great guitarist.
I recieved a mail from Kris to say my subscription on GMC was succesful but I think thats all.
I as just thinking about Dick Dale this morning.
Was watching this clip on Youtube of him doing Misirilou in '63.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIU0RMV_II8
It's an interesting clip. I hadn't noticed it before, but he's playing left handed on a left handed guitar, but it's strung upside down like it's a flipped righty guitar. So his low E string's where the high E string should be.
I'm working on Dick Dale lesson, stay tuned !
