Thanks for the replies guys, I don't even know what strap locks are.... I just looked them up and it looks like it just reinforces the connection between the strap and the body of the guitar??

btw I don't think I'll be ordering anything online, I need to go out tomorrow and get one, I hate being without a strap... thats the one thing I've figured out over the past 24 hours
