GMC Forum _ Marcus Lavendell _ Using A Distortion Pedal

Hello Marcus,

Big thanks for all your contributions at GMC. Just to let you know, you happen to be my most admired here. I am asking on how to sound better using my Distortion pedal. The brand is Lyon - by Washburn. Not very exoctic but can work. Give me some ideas on adjusting these knobs.

Hi Mr. Bates,

Sorry, I'm not familiar with that distortion pedal
However, a common "mistake" people do (imo) is that they add too much distortion, which could make it sound muddy.
