Sepultura Style, Lesson by Lian Gerbino |

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Sepultura Style Lesson is by Lian Gerbino
I recorded this with my Jackson SLSMG. My tone is from my VOX VT 30 and I controlled how much gain I wanted with my volume pedal. I used Luminance effect for the video. I improvised a bit at the beginning, and I did my own thing at the unison bend. Thanks! This post has been edited by skennington: Jan 16 2011, 05:44 PM |

This is very good. Again some minor rushes here and there, but nothing important. I would advise that you lift up the pinky and ring finger when playing these riffs, it will be easier in the long run for you to play with the picking hand that is completely floating.

Very good take. As Ivan said, just a little in front of the beat in places... you forgot the B5 chord to start with (although you did play it afterwards) but still good !

Very nice video. You should try relaxing a bit and playing on top or slightly behind the beat. Playing in front of the beat is often called - anti beat

A great take,man!
Besides the above mentioned, I'd add just one more thing: hit the strings harder, it's METAL after all |
