One of the recent collaborations I really enjoy comes from the hands of Slash (yeah slash month!) and Andrew Stockdale: Die by the Sword
But the first one that came to mind was Deftones featuring Maynard James Keenan: -------------------- Roland Cube 30; Toneport GX; Cort kx1; Ibanez RG1570; Ibanez EW35ABE-NT http://www.last.fm/user/Mr_T83 |

BB King was a great collaborator. His collaboration lists includes numerous "who's who" people in the business. "Riding with the king" is his collaboration with Eric Clapton, and the whole album is very quality one.
Clapton has been a great collaborator also, having BB King, Phil Collins as somewhat regular mutual guests live. Other important guitar players and musicians shared the stage and studio with Clapton, such as Mark Knopfler, JJ Cale, Joe Bonamassa, Cheryl Crow, Sting, Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and many others.
