So I recently just started listening to Trivium and have been inspired by their playing. It seems to me like they vary. They can be really mellow and melodic or all out balls to the wall metal. What do you guys think and can you suggest songs because I dont really know of many.

Thanks

Honestly I love all there albums, I have been listening to them since they released Ember To Inferno (They are from my area smile.gif ). Ascendancy is a great album, The Crusade is a fantastic album, and Shogun is just unbelievable in every way. There isnt a bad song on it, There really isnt a bad song on any album, Some that aren't as strong as others, But all of them I still like though.

But thats just me, Im probably biased when it comes to Trivium cool.gif

Nothing beats Shogun itself, The song is pure perfection, The riffs flow seemlessly and the solos are great, Lyrics are amazing, everything about it is just awesome.

Shogun blows me away every time i listen to it, a famtatsic album. I have't listened to ember much still, but loved ascendancy, the crusade was okay...didnt do anything wrong but just didnt do anything special for me.
But Shogun- wow, i really didn't think they were capable of it which made the shock of the first listening even greater hehe- my favourites from each album would be:

Ascendancy:
Pull harder
Acendancy
Drowned and torn asunder
Gunshot to the head of trepidation
(ill stop there otherwise ill name 3/4s of the album tongue.gif)

Crusade:
Detonation
Becoming the dragon

Shogun:
All of it (i wouldnt ever leave any track out when listening to this album)
Try and get the special edition with the DVD too, they show you a few riffs which is cool

But make sure you give shogun a listen- and it makes a challening jam session too wink.gif
