My Floyd is actually normal one,it's just that hole in the body is like for tremolo bridges,that's all.
 This "pre-cut" is place for locking nut on the neck,right? -------------------- Youtube

No; the locking nut can be put on guitars that don't have any indents on the neck.

I think he's just been mislead.
Or maybe he's confused it with the actual tremolo and the routs in the bridge. -------------------- |

Kahler use to make one that screwed down behind a normal nut. It used little flip levers instead of allen screws to provide clamping . It still may be available....Aint seen one since the late 80's..lol
