So, I have an essay I need to write tonight on generalizations, and I'm drawing blanks. Can anyone think of a good topic? It just has to be a generalization about anything. I was thinking of doing something about music/musicians, but it can be anything. Something funny would be fine, too, it doesn't have to be something serious, the English teacher has a great sense of humor.

My friend did his about generalization, it was pretty funny. It went something like: A generally generalized generalization today is that generalizations are generally general. But for about five pages. I can't wait to see our teacher's face when he reads it... but he's a really easy-going guy, he'll probably love it.

Zephyr there are some great stories in that thread from dango, The Uncreature, JasoninOhio and a few others, so you shouldn't have a problem finding some generalizations there.
