GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ Shouldnt Korg Be Endorcing Muris

Posted by: USAMAN May 13 2008, 11:56 PM

I am amazed that Muris doesnt have an endorcement with Korg, after all, Who else could make that little black box sound so good.
Is there a way to make Korg pay attention to one AMAZING musician.

Muris will be a household name in the near future - KORG will be wishing they had the money to afford him in the endorsement bidding war.

Yeh, Muris should be on the packaging too rolleyes.gif

Posted by: mattacuk May 14 2008, 09:22 AM

Darn straight they should!!

But I think the right people need to see him, maybe Korg bosses rather than someone who just reads there emails smile.gif

I agree ! But I think its a little bit hard to get an endorsement here (in Balkans) smile.gif

Definatly! theres gunna be a lot of companies climbing over each other to endorse Muris when he gets the recognition that he so rightly deserves smile.gif

One day soon Muris will be spotted by companies and offered these opportunities. I hope he gets the recognition he clearly deserves soon smile.gif

Thank you for your interest in the artist endorsement program. To be considered for endorsement, please send a press kit to the address below. Once received, it will be reviewed by Korg USA’s Artist Relations Department who will contact you if they can offer an endorsement deal. If you do not hear back, please understand that while we would love to endorse every artist, some may not fit our criteria. We look forward to hearing from you soon and good luck!

Good luck! smile.gif
If Korg say no, then it's their loss smile.gif ..and they will probably regret it later

All the more reason to endorse him! Here is a life lesson in what a person can accomplish in spite of incredible hardship. It would be an extremely intelligent marketing move on the part of Korg, or anyone else, to endorse such an awesome musician. My respect for Muris goes beyond his over-the-top playing. It speaks to the man's courage and character to excel under such dire circumstances! Muris really is a guitar hero, in the truest sense of the word!

Good luck Muris, you deserve it smile.gif

I think we have power in our mass here at GMC. First I realized that if every member voted in Guitar Idol, we would have David and Muris as #'s 1 and 2. Then as reading this I thought, what if every member at GMC sent an email to Korg, telling them to check out Muris, wouldnt they take looking at him more seriously? After all, arent endorsement deals done to attract more viewers to a companies product? So if Korg sees 5,000 emails from guitar players, I thing they would be pretty interested to see who can command that kind of fanbase a la Muris. I mean, if we tried in an organized fashion, we could probably have every instructor here sponsored by a major brand. Some things to think about.

I sent them few emails but no respond,
it's a huge company and it IS hard to get inside.
Now,collecting a press kit is a hell of a job tho dry.gif

What kind of things do you need for the press kit?

I must agree with you there Jenkinson
If everyone worked together at once here we definitely would have an unreal power.
It is tough to get everyone participating even just voting on things
You could always put the effort in and generate a forum dedicated to promoting your
favorite instructor or the other topics you discussed, I'd check it out
