Hi! I didn't really understand what you're using. Too little information from you or too little knowledge on my side. "Live" like you stated gives me the ideas it's a POD XT or X3 but then a version number 5.2 suggests it's software. No? But which software?

If that's the case the POD acts as your soundinterface, does none of the actual recording of the tracks. Your sequencer program does that and there is where you choose to render your project into a wav or mp3 file and probably how to render the files, together or as separate files.

Perhaps I'm missing something and my answer isn't really what you were looking for but please be more specific on what you're using to record and develop further on how you render and I'm sure someone can help.

I think he meant Abletone Live DAW, that comes bundled with Line 6 devices, If I'm not mistaken.

If so, there should be an option in export window to export a mixdown, not separate tracks. I recommend searching the help index of the software for keywords like "export audio", or "mixdown", and you will find those options.

ok so far I've no joy. I have no problem rendering to disk and making a wav file it is just that it makes a wav file for ever track rather than just one wav file

Reading through the manuel it say that rendering to disk will always render the signal at live's master ouput. If you are monitoring the master ouput, you can be sure that the rendered file will contain exactly what you hear.
Unfortunaly this is not my result when I play my tracks in live all is good but when I render to disk it seperates all the tracks

Ok I looked again and I found what was appears to be wrong. Actually it was working but it put the audio file in a different folder which I have found. So when I render to disk it does make separate files plus a combined one. Thanks guys. yippy!

Great, I'm glad you have found a solution. Actually I suspected a little that you were looking in a folder that holds the recorded files, but didn't wanna make that presumption. Anyway, it's good that you have overcome problem, happy recording and exporting! smile.gif
