GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ Scprophet's Unknown Underated Metal Band A Day
Posted by: SCProphet Jul 11 2012, 09:19 PM
Hello GMC , SCProphet here
The purpose of this thread is to spread unknown metal throughout the 4 corners of this great site. The Idea for this came from http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_forum/index.php?showtopic=45087. I'll post one song from an unknown and in my eyes underrated band in this thread. I'll Keep it to one band a day so everyone can take 5 to 10 minutes to check it out and hopefully enjoy it. As always If you like the music spread it further (legally) or even support the bands.
First entry is A band from my homecountry Belgium. I present Lemuria, A pagan/symphonic/folk metal band from Antwerp who recently won a talent quest on our biggest festival : Graspop Metal Meeting.
I hope you enjoyed and see you tomorrow for more unknown metal madness.

I've got a demo CD with one of their songs on it. I tried buying there albums but they were notoriously expensive as I had to import them from deep the european wilderness it seemed.

Hmm, I can ask their guitar player, who is a friend of mine how much the shipping to the US costs. Or If you ever want to visit Belgium I can give you some locations of exellent Music shops here. Which are in near proximity of a touristic atraction

Nice stuff Mr. Prophet.
here's very underrated Progressive / heavy / folk metal band from my country (and my town) that won various prizes for metal acts in Balkan. Hope you'll like them.

I liked the solo, but I'm afraid that's about it, they are not my cup of tea actualy,No offence but they sound a bit too poppy to me, everyone can have their taste, can we not

I like this one! It sounds like some bands that I like (In flames, Dark Tranquility), thanks for sharing. Also the difference in sound when I select HD is awesome.
