I was putting DiMarzio Evolution into my Ibanez Rg320 and I had a problem with the switch's second position which is supposed to keep the humbucker in parallell with the stock pu's.

My second switch position was dead silent.

I wrote the DiMarzio tech support telling them the pu's I had and which guitar and less than 2 hours later they had sent me a wiring diagram for my specific guitar together with their pickups. smile.gif
I'm sure they get the same question hundereds of times for some guitar models, great thing they manage to keep it organized and quickly can send informative replies.

A gold star to DiMarzio from me! I'll share the wiring diagram later on if I get it to work.

That's a great thing to have a support like that. CHanging pickups is not an easy task without guideance, and people in SD and Dimarzio know that. THat's why they make pretty sure that you can insert the pickup properly into the guitar.

Here's the wiring diagram incase anyone needs it. Got it soldered right now and it works like a charm.

My own mistake was to mix a black and a while wire that went with the cable that bridged two connectors dry.gif
