GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ More Novice Lessons

ok i got basic chords down but i want to learn some metal but nothing hard, somthing not much harder than 2 or 3 string stuff and i cant seem to find any of that, could you link me or show me where i can find that? smile.gif

Those lessons may seem hard to you, but if you sit down and serisouly practice them hardcore like. You will get them. And you will be happy of the improvement that you have made, instead of learning easy stuff!!

That is what i would recommend!!

i know where you are coming from ryan and i certainly respect your opinion but personally i need short term achievable goals to stay motivated and when you have family with there own activities and then throw in work and then theres always something that needs doing around the house there aint to much time left i would like to see more novice lessons maybe something that over a few weeks builds into something a little more advanced
just my opinion though

Ryan's thinking is similar to mine when I got started.!

However - it's probably a good idea to get some short term rewards as well!

And search for "Gabriel" - some of his lessons should match your description! You could also try and search for "rock" or "metal".

This topic just gave me idea for a beginner metal lesson with riffs i used to play when i was beginner. I think i already know what the next lesson will be like! smile.gif

hi sharpie i know what you mean but i agree wiyh symon and ryan i play stuff now i couldnt have dreamt of three months ago its doesnt always sound great but hell it feels good

oh sry, my internet has been down for a long time, anyways i tried the first metal song by gabriel and it was perfect for what i was looking for, this is the first site worth the $$ laugh.gif
