Pinging Sound From Amp

I'm running a line 6 pocket pod and on some of the guitar settings I am getting this pinging sound kind of like a whip crack echoing back every few seconds.

If I put my headphones directly into the line6 pod I don't get it really as bad

amp is just a 20W cheapo.

It's interference. Try moving the amp to a different location. Or it's a bad ground from either the amp or the outlet. Again, try moving it and keep all other objects away and see if it does it.
