Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Take of https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/oasis_style_lesson/ by Carlos Carrillo.

I picked this lesson to work on rhythmic accuracy, partial strum accuracy and intonation consistency. It seemed to fit the bill, and was fun. As usual, it took much longer than I anticipated to work it into shape. I figured it would take me about 2 weeks to master it when I started practicing it, oh, 3.5 months ago . rolleyes.gif

audio: martin 000C-16GTE w/ fishman (on-board mic + piezo) straight in with no effects. It sounds like there's some reverb, but I think that's just the body of the guitar.

video: agentV5 webcam, competing with the audio for cpu/bus and losing some frames.

Maybe it took you longer than you expected to master this song, but your work was well invested, cool take.

Nice take Methodseeker. You had trouble in the opening of the lesson as your strumming was not in sync with backing always (phrasing was behind most of the times). As the lesson went on, you became more confident and delivered more solid performance. Next time make sure you listen more to drums as they should be your reference when doing specific strumming patterns.
