My son did his first real gig, in the town concert hall. They've played live before at school and such, but not like this before.

The town school ... choir? had a concert and Mamolife was invited to do a "halftime show". Just one song.
They rehearsed two times with the choir during the day, all went well.
Unfortunatly it got messed up a bit when they went live. The guitarists (my son, marked as Ruben and a girl) was supposed to stand infront of the huge Steinway but the stage guy put them behind it. I'd rather would have seen the kids than the Steinway, even though it's a very nice Steinway sad.gif
Then when they started playing his dist pedal broke. He tried to kickstart it for a while. Later in the performance the sound guy enters the stage and chats with him and tries to get the pedal going. So my son was a bit disappointed with the arrangement but in whole it went very well. Great experience for them.
My son is a bit lazy, and used the schools gear instead of bringing his own. He played a Les Paul which he didn't like at all smile.gif
Well, I think he learned something. He mumbled afterwards "Next time I'll bring my own gear" smile.gif
I guess we have to go and buy a DF-7 or something now smile.gif
