Ordered a new amp and guitar was due to receive it today. Couldn't wait to get home from work to play them both and for that reason my day dragged in. My mum popped out to take the dog for a walk for 15 minutes and thats when the delivery guy came laugh.gif

So its now getting delivered tomorrow. Its going to be another long day at work tomorrow and to top it off I sliced my index finger open on my left hand. Its proving rather difficult to play minus a finger mad.gif

Here is a link to the guitar and amp I bought

http://www.andertons.co.uk/solid-body-elec...ture-guitar.asp

http://www.andertons.co.uk/combo-amps/pid2...-guitar-amp.asp

Heard good things about the little Yamaha desktop amps

Also planning on changing the pick guard on the guitar to black

Nice smile.gif
I'd really love to try some of the chapman guitars. I almost bought the chapman sig tele a while ago. They all look really good.
Let us know what the cap 10 plays like smile.gif

NICE!!! Also killer that the guitar comes with "real" Seymour Duncans and not "Duncan Designed" pickups. Usually guitars under $800 do not have real Duncans. I don't know how they are doing it but I'm glad that they are smile.gif

Those yamaha desktop amps are very spiff and act as a recording interface smile.gif

Will do Bleez. From what I have played I must admit that I really like them.

This is possibly my next Chapman guitar smile.gif

Yeah Todd. Definitely getting a lot off guitar for you're money smile.gif

The fact that the Yamaha amp is a recording interface as well is a major factor on me getting this

Planning your next guitar before your new guitar has even been delivered..... I like it biggrin.gif
the ghost fret sounds great. The blue flame would be my choice as well. I think its an awesome finish. Did his original ghost fret not have some sort of 'hidden' fret? I seem to remember sonething like that. Very nice spec on it.

Not to sure Bleez. I am sure there were only two made by Jaden Rose. I know one of them is now owned by a member of the Rob Chapman forum.

Update on my new guitar

I ended up having to go and pick it up laugh.gif 80 mile round trip up through Glasgow . The traffic was a nightmare. Finally got in the house yesterday at 7.30 and had a play about with the cap10.The feel, finish and setup of the guitar are amazing. No complaints there. The neck is smooth and easy to play. Not to thin but doesn't feel to chunky either. The pickups are outstanding and the guitar is very versatile with the 5 way pickup position.I am really happy with the guitar and would highly recommend it. Also the tortoise pick guard actually looks a lot better in person. I will keep this in the meantime and maybe in the near future I will change it to a black one smile.gif
