It's an indo ibby with a quiltish top. Looks good so far and it was less than $175 shipped. If you want to get started with an ibby, something like this would make a good choice smile.gif

Just got this guy yesterday and I must say I'm impressed with the quality for it being such a low range instrument. The finish looks like, the inf4 pups are a big improvement over the inf3 and the neck feels great. It plays better than the xiphos I just got which is kinda shocking. Anyone else owned one of these?

Congrats back to you Todd on you're new guitar. Do love a red guitar. Are the inf pickups renowned for being kind of bad. Not to clued up about them but still see ibanez guitars getting sold with them installed for a decent price.

I haven't owned one of those, but I had an S540 with those shark tooth inlays smile.gif. Looks like a keeper.

The INF pups are NOT my fave to be sure smile.gif They do help keep the price down on starter ibby's though! smile.gif For under $200 you could get an ibby that would get you started in Ibby land smile.gif For those who are not sure if it's their thing of course and don't live near music shops which is what I hear from folks in Europe.

This one is a SELLER now that I"m keeping the XIPHOS xpt750 limited edition that got damaged in shipping. He cut the price in half so I'll just play it with the damage. Plays great. Best $200 Ibby ever smile.gif At that price, I can't see keeping this one.
