Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

I think that you are on the right track exploring the fretboard. You still have to be able to create more catchy melodies, more defined "answer" & "question" phrases, and give more variations regarding rhythm but you are going for that! Learning licks at GMC will also help you to incorporate more complex phrases and ideas. I can't grade this video since it's an improvisation. Keep on the hard work! Sometimes, you are resting too much on the same note and you should work a bit more on direction - that means, thinking in terms of how you phrase, in such a way that you can give your improvised lines a definite direction and also, try to create a melodic theme that can be recurrent in the track and that can also be developed! It's more "vocal like" which i a thing that I personally like.
