Cool find, can't wait to hear how it sounds. In the meantime, I'm wondering what this has to do with the 80's.

Wow. Fantastic deal!
I paid $1100 in 1979 (ok I'm getting old already. laugh.gif ) for a new one (Gibson Les Paul, Kalamazoo Model, Cherry Sunburst) . I bought it when I graduated from High School ... had to borrow $800 ... made $50 per month payments for I don't know how long to get it paid off. ...worth every penny ... shouldn't have ever traded it away. ... I wish I still at least had pictures.

Hang on to that baby forever.

Still wondering what it has to do with the 80's. That tobacco burst was "vintage" style by the time the 80's got rolling.

Anyway, grats on your new-old axe. I bet it sounds great smile.gif
