Hey, i need help finding some songs to convert to acoustic.

me and my bass player do some acoustic sets every now and again and we need more songs.
so far we have:

soundgarden - black hole sun
shinedown - 45
lynyrd skynyrd - simple man
nickelback - rockstar
poison - every rose has its thorn
seether - broken (with a guest female singer when we do the version with amy lee)

were looking for songs with the same type of vocals as shinedown/nickelback/seether but we dont want to use too many songs from the same bands.

can anyone think of any?

Cheers
Chris

mmm been thinking. Might not be to your taste but what about the following;

1. You do Something to me - Paul Weller
2. Outside - Staind
3. Wish You Where Here - Pink Floyd
4. Behind Blue Eyes - Limp Bizkit version
5. Rebel Yell - Billy Idol

If I think of anymore I'll post them smile.gif

I was just at an acoustic act yesterday, just two acoustic guitars playing covers,
one that really got my attention was Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb, that solo converted to acoustic is just breathtaking.

I like to play these songs on my acoustic guitar:

Slipknot - Vermilion part 2
Creed - One last breath
bullet for my valentine - tears dont fall - acoustic song - youtube
Creed - Higher
Creed - My sacrifice
Crossfade - Colors
Dry kill logic - Kingdom of the blind
Seether - Fade away
Stone sour - Bother
System of a down - Roulette
Hurt - Falls apart (GREAT SONG! Good song for vocals aswell)
Bobaflex - Home (Best rock song ever made - in my opinion)

Good luck! Hope it helps

Hey Muntahunta...here are a few I'd like to suggest smile.gif

Days of the New - Touch, Peel and Stand, Shelf in the Room, Bring me Down
Soundgarden - Spoonman
Pearl Jam - Yellow Ledbetter, Alive, Black
Audioslave - We got the Whip
Live - Walk the Line
Shinedown - Simple Man (pretty good cover actually)
Metallica - Mama Said, Nothing Else Matters

Vocally I'm not sure if what your looking for but

Foo Fighters - Everlong, My Hero, Times like These
Smashing Pumpkins - Disarm
Radiohead - Creep, High and Dry, Karma Police

That's all I can think of right now but I'll add some more later.
