Well here goes nothing - my first REC take on GMC. Test of my new webcam, (whose frame rate should be higher than this GRRR), my fingers and my ability not to swear on camera. Cheers! :) Z.

Heeeey, welcome to the REC Zone ! Well done for jumping in... once you've taken the plunge that's it wink.gif

I like the camera.. that Les Paul looks beautiful.

Your take is really good. The down stroke part is pretty solid. The upstrokes are a bit more awkward but you get the hang of it after a few. It is more difficult to do than down strokes anyway. If you can, try to keep the chords hit clean with no muting and just cut them off after, rather than keep them muted throughout.

However, you might want that effect anyway so it could come down to a question of personal preference there..

Overall, really good. A couple of rough chord changes and timing slips so I'm throwing down a solid 9 ! cool.gif

Hey Zoot! Welcome to the REC zone biggrin.gif Congratulations on a first well done take. Aside from a few slightly rigid chord changes, your timing is good, and the attack is consistent. 9 From me as well and I hope you will give me the opportunity to offer you a 10 wink.gif tongue.gif Keep on rocking mate!

Hi mate! You are taking GMC very seriously! Well done! smile.gif
This take is good! You timing, tone and overall feel is close to perfection. As Cosmin said, the chord changes is a bid rigid by now, as if you don't feel comfortable with them yet, but this will be solved with practice.
Congrats on your first REC take! smile.gif

Good take! I like it a lot! A few chords were a little shaky but the whole impression was very nice! If you will spend more time practicing this lesson it will be a solid 10 but at this point 9 from me!
