GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ Name For Band?

I know it's quite weird to ask for that on a forum but why not.
We started a band and now we only cover some songs but we want to be a band à la Rise Against.

Sooooo we need a name that comes with that type of music like: As I lay dying, Rise Against, Heaven Shall Burn etc ...

Maybe I'll get some tips over here that can help us finding a good name.

I came up with a band/song name list in word, and whenever I get an Idea I just throw it on their (creative, or stupid)... It's up to... 419 names now ! Do you want a funny name, a serious name, or ???

I don't know I think you should ask your band members to do some brainstorming.You need to think of a name that you will be glad to stand behind...I don't think others should make up the name...hehehe its like naming a child !

Sometimes those bandname-generators can actually help, even if it gives you bizarre results. You might come across a few cool words you havent thought of earlier, then piece it together and you might have a good name
