According to the BG website Marcus Siepen has some skateboarding experience...not with a longboard though. I'm not a great skater myself, but I'd say go for it! But buy some wrist protection first...

This video seems very inspiring...I don't have much knowledge about board types and especially this one... If you want to do it, remember to wear protection for wrists... I tried ice skating last winter and ended that carrier by falling on the wrist and being unable to play for a week sad.gif

Used to do it a lot, Find a good smooth hill or bridge and just go flying down. Broke my ankle twice, dislocated 2 fingers, tore a tendon, and broke my right wrist, And don't do it anymore laugh.gif

I was planning on getting one but I don't know when that'll happen. My friend used to skateboard way back, and now he has a own made longboard with cruiser trucks and it rides like a dream. Though, we don't have hills here.

Man, I did lot of skating when I was teenager, but fell so bad once, broke my tooth, really injured myself. Be careful, and by good equipment.
