I spelled my username wrong...I didn't even think that was possible!

Look at the topic for my guitar...
Finished Guitar Build

Gear:
Homemade strat (You still need to look at its topic!)
Squier strat (probably going to get rid of it and get another guitar instead) :)
Line 6 spider amp (not actually used for anything, just acts as a speaker)
Digitech Gnx2 (kind of old, but cheap, and sounds amazing!)

TYR is great. Land is a great album!

There music is a little ehrm boring live though. I guess its great on some level, but Eluveite is a hard act to follow.

Oh yea, if you like folk metal with tons of folk instruments in it, listen to Eluveite!

At the moment it is Volbeat and Bullet For My Valentine.
And Fatal Charm but I guess that's not metal really.

Well I am not as well versed in metal as some but I did grow up in the 80's so bands like Sabbath, Priest, Maiden Metallica, Anthrax, Megadeath would be at the top of any metal list for me... also I am a product of Glam metal so I do have a soft spot for bands like Poison, Cinderella, White Lion etc. but don't hold that against me wink.gif

But since I have joined GMC I must say I have found a few metal bands that I really enjoy. Tops for me now would be Children of Bodom, Iced Earth, Nightwish, BFMV and Opeth.

rok

PS: @Praetorian - The Dropkick Murphy's are AWESOME!!!!!! One of the best Celtic Punk bands since the Pogues. Nice to see another fan smile.gif

QUOTE ("Steve Vai")
Start by playing something - a bend, a riff, a scale, a song - very slowly; if you make a mistake, start over; do this over and over, until you can play it flawlessly - and I do mean flawlessly - many times in a row. Next, gradually increase the tempo. Eventually you'll be flailing like a madman.
