Hello guys! Let's talk about rhythm guitar! Have you seen my new lesson based on Mumford & Sons acoustic style?

I find their guitar style interesting because of their folk influences and the use of unusual guitar strumming.

As you can see they divide the lower and higher string like it usually happens in Celtic music, making it sound more like "percussive". I remember that Dave Grohl explained that his approach to guitar was also like this one: seeing the guitar as a drum kit, where the lower strings are the kick and snare and the higher strings are the hi hat and cymbals.

What bands or songs do you think use this approach or any other strumming that you consider uncommon and interesting?
