Hello smile.gif

Taking your advices into account I have tried to get rid of the muddiness off my tone but it is still unpleasant to the ear...

I've tried various tweaks (knobs, equalizer, amp simulators, screamer plugins...) and I think my pickups need replacement.

Hi mate, good job! This take sounds much better, not only your guitar, also the mix of backing an guitar. The two things that you have to concentrate and work on are bending an vibrato. Your bending is not reaching the correct pitch easily, and your vibrato is a bit irregular and should be more consistent. I also notice that your guitar has some tuning issues, so be sure to check your tuning before you start a take.

Keep on practising this lesson concentrating on these things! Cheers,

Gab.-

This is a good effort which just needs some polishing up.

I think your vibrato is quite good and has potential. It would be nice to see you expand on this and get even better !

The things that stop this getting higher marks is the 'out of tune' issues with your guitar. I think the D or G is flat, not sure.

The other is timing. You rushed some of the phrases near the beginning a bit.

Hey mate!

Seems like your timing is good and you play very clean, which is a good thing, but as Gabe very well noticed, you need to focus on your articulation - reaching the correct pitches and making your vibrato sound even! Work on these things at a slower tempo - slow means that you are able to control the bends and vibrato and once you get to full speed, record against the original instructor take, so that you may compare your bends with it smile.gif

Keep rocking!

Quality is way better! smile.gif Like Ben said - need some polishing. As for the tone You I think it's not a matter of the guitar - Always try to find solutions in Your hands - You could try to increase picking strength while lowerign the gain only a bit. This would add some bite. It's hard to tell it for sure but watching Your right hand I guess You play pretty soft. Any way posotions of Your hand look very nice and it's visible that You already know essentials of most techniques. There are no obvious mistakes - just a matter of geting used to , so You'll have better control on the pitch smile.gif Well done smile.gif
