The Hellecasters...

All three of them, John Jorgensen, Will Ray and Jerry Donahue are just amazing, and all of their work is worth checking out and studying

Donahue is BY FAR an amazing musician and guitarist and I have learned TONS from his playing in respect to bending techniques - the man is insanely skilled with everything, but the bends... Ah the bends! biggrin.gif

Johnny Hiland is also an extremely versatile picker:

I totally recommend this video!

And of course we have to include Muris
He's not of this world.

If there is someone who should be much better known it would be him, maybe if he was American he would be, what say you?

I totally agree! Unfortunately, he was born in a country which hasn't got ANYTHING to do with rock music. But he is a fighter, I am sure he will prevail smile.gif

We (my band) received this comment from an important person from Sony Music label... he said: you are great, but you were born in the wrong place. ohmy.gif

Yesterday, when I received my new guitar from being set up, I tested it on a Rocktron amp that was laying around there and guess what, at some point it sounded like a Tele biggrin.gif Guess you can have a Tele without having a Tele? tongue.gif

At this point in my life, I have a written contract with a great guitar company and I can't use other guitars than PRSs onstage. In the mean time, I don't earn THAT much money to be able to afford a Tele and just have it at home, so I guess it's something I can live without tongue.gif
