Wasburn and Epiphone guitars and Randall amps.

The Epiphone guitar is the Les Paul Std and classic models and the washburn guitar is selling for about $400.00 US and looks like a Les paul

The Randall Amps are either the 60 or 75 Watt models with all of the sound enhancements on them and sell for about $300.00 US or $320.00 US.

I know before when I asked about this stuff i was told to get a US strat or a Ibanez 2550e and a Rowland Cube 60 Amp but I'm not so sure my budget will be as fat as it was originally going to be.

As before all input will be appreciated.

Also all costs are my cost as a student of the school.

randall amps are awesome, got distortion. Also you can't do nothing wrong with an epiphone les paul but I would be carefull with the washburn guitars since I don't know about their quality

Troy Grady plays on a really nice washburn but thats like in the 1500 region.

Um I think your better off going with the ep's. They have a smoother feel and are nice guitars.

-John

Edit: As for Randall Amps, I dont know much about them . If you really want good distortion you can be a fairly cheap marshall and hook a digitech Heavy Metal Distortion up to it.
