Pod Xt Wont Turn On

im trying to find out if the device is "dead" or the power cable is the problem. but i dont have another cable like it, so i want to know what will happen if i use 9v 300mA cable, will it work but poorly or wont turn on at all?

Don't run it on 300mA, you could damage it possibly. Try to get a stronger power adapter, they are available in bigger electric stores.

Important thing is that you get the voltage right and a capacity of 2000mA or more.

You could test your original power adaptor on an effects pedal to see if that's what's broken. They usually don'r crave more than 500mA so the one that came with the POD would be suffucien.

thx, but apperantly its a done deal, the adapter works, its the pod that died, ill take it to an electrition to see if he can do anything, if not ill have to buy a new one, or more liely not buy

I used to have one of the Red PODXts. It fell from about 2 meters high and it didn't turn on after that. I took it to a electrician and he fixed it!
