Guitar Going Out Of Tune

Mar 13 2008, 05:08 PM	GMC:er Posts: 5.635 Joined: 29-November 07 From: Nottingham, UK	My guitars rarely go out of tune unless I do one thing and that is tune my guitar to 1 step down. If I do this then it will take time to stick in this tuning and if I leave it in 1 step down tuning and then put it back in Standard after a week it takes a while to stick in that tuning after retuning. Here's what I do when I change action/intonation/tuning/whatever: tune stretch them all pretty hard(well, not too hard) tune again stretch again tune Should be able to stay in tune almost perfectly now. Here's what you can do: open the casing for the tuning pegs, and tighten up the screws inside. Your guitar is great and it should not have tuning problem at all. I will do that as I think you're right after more thought into the problem my self as it is opnly 2 strings that really do it and the tuning pegs do seem much looser than the others.
