I'm not sure how I've missed out listening to this band as I'm sure I've heard the name thrown about.
Anyway I came across them as I follow a rock vocal teacher who was doing a live chat with Jonny Craig and Spenser from Periphery

I'm loving the aggressive vocals mixed with some RnB influence

That one I did like wink.gif Also this one. Gotta say they have a very wide range as a band and can certainly play. Check this one. I like the clean 8 string bit near the start. Wouldn't be the first band that I eventually got way in to after hating the first thing I heard from them.

Steve Vai has rereleased his some of his tracks from passion and warfare in higher resolution. He also released a version of "I'd Love to" which is on his youtube page. For some reason his is in his underwear at one point in the love to vid so i grabbed the previous one he released which was "For the love of God"

I highly recommend the "passion and warfare" re-mastered version, often re-masters sound worse than the original but I really liked that one.

Agreed. The first one came out quite a bit ago and technology has made huge gains. I sorta wish he would go back and get the original film from the videos and make real 16x9 videos instead of upressing the 4x3 but that would cost a lot.

Tom from Rage Against The Machine doing HIGHWAY TO HELL with Bruce Springstein on vocals? Hmm. I like the music but I"m not sure about the Boss doing ACDC?

After a mad week of work.
Twisted Coil (Guilt Machine) from Ayreon - Electric Caste Live and Other Tales.

I actually prefer the other tales, but don't that to Arjen. wink.gif

The album version worked better for me, probably then the concert would speak to me more

Can’t argue with you about the album version. Jasper did a fantastic job. cool.gif

Having been to the concert twice , Damian’s performance still gives me goosebumps.

Here is a Djenty sounding bunch of Japanese gals. Imagine if Baby Metal listened to a lot of Periphery.

Seeing those words "Hard Core Punk" made me check out a couple of my old albums on YT.

KK Downing (Judas Priest) quit priest long ago and now has formed KKs Priest which sounds like a Judas Priest cover band for some reason. Anyhoo, it's not bad, just not very good imho. I was hoping for more. The main riff is pretty darn basic. I know he isn't going to do periphery riffs but still, it's just a bit too basic for me. I"m sure some folks will love it. What do you guys think?
