If you had the money to buy any gear out there what three things would you buy.

I would buy

1. A top of the range PRS.The finishes on those guitars are incredible.

2. Gibson collectors edition. Gibson are doing a thing where they get famous guitarists to loan them their old gibson and they replicate it. Even down to scrapes on the paintwork old drill holes for the tuners. They sell for around £5000. Look stunning and suppose to play amazing.

3.Ibanez Jem.

What would you buy

Just curious eh? Well being an Ibby nut and never having owned a jem.....

But if I was really looking at spending 5k I would skip all those to be honest.

I'd avoid anything off the rack and have a custom Daemoness built from scratch.

Just googled Daemoness guitars Todd. They look like absolute monsters of guitars. I can see why you would want a custom one. Nice choice mate.

I'd probably go with a custom Daemonness guitar made, a custom PRS, and home studio made.

If I had a lot of cash right now, I'd get a PRS which I'd keep in standard tuning, but if I had money and a good idea, I'd probably make more money laugh.gif

That a first for me. A guitar made out of Aluminum? It's certainly an interesting idea. It's hard not to be suspect of making a guitar out of the stuff beer cans come from, but I'm guessing it must be pretty spiff as they want 5k for it!!!

That a first for me. A guitar made out of Aluminum? It's certainly an interesting idea.

As far as I'm aware Tokai made the first Aluminium Bodied production guitar. The Tokai Talbo, released in the early 80's. As used by Girlschool, Tim farris (INXS) and a few others. Admittedly, they didn't sell in large numbers or become hugely popular!

Previous to that Travis Bean built an SG style guitar with an aluminium neck, a favourite of Gerry Garcia (Grateful Dead):-

Kramer experimented with aluminum necks for a while too, starting in the mid 70's.

Are these guitars completely made out of aluminum or just the neck?
