GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ Self Introduce: Will Huang

Posted by: WillHuang Jul 28 2011, 08:19 PM

Hello GMC:ers,

My name is Will. I'm living in Taipei, Taiwan. I've just join GMC today. It's so glad to meet so many guitar enthusiasts over here. I have learned a little bit folk guitar about 15 years ago and over 10 years did not touch the guitar. I was recently bought a new electronic guitar and would like to learn something from here. When I get stuck, hope someone can help me through and give me strength and hope. Thanks! smile.gif

Best regards,
Will

People will always help you. You have a lot to look at here, a lot of these teachers are world class, certainly in terms of playing abiity. Some have come and gone, but the lessons remain. I suggest doing a lot of looking around using the guitar lessons link at the top left page. It is pretty incredible, the amount of material that has accumulated here. But you have to spend time looking around and listening to them, to see what you like. I doubt you can even imagine how much great material is here. Whatever you think the amount might be, multiply that by 20, that is probably closer to the mark.

Dear All,

Thank you all guys! You're so warm & rock. biggrin.gif

For now, I'm plan to practices guitar skill at least 1 hour a day. I'm learning very basic stuff right now. I think I need some direction to learn something basic. Thanks for your help! smile.gif

English is not my native language. I may not be able to describe the real problem I met in the guitar learning journey. Hope you have the patient to understanding what I said. tongue.gif

To Cosmin: The v-chat session is truly cool, and I'm loving it. But I can't participate on it every time because it's really too late for me. ( The v-chat session is started from AM 4:00 and I need to go to work in the morning. ^^ ) By the way, you're looks like the "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X-Men_Origins:_Wolverine" in the X-Men Origins movie. So cool. cool.gif

Will
