GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ Temporary Ban
Posted by: Kristofer Dahl Mar 19 2008, 10:17 PM
We are now seeing a weird development - I have got reports from different members that some GMC:ers are gathering an "msn ring against GMC"
We have done some temporary banning until we know more. From what I hear this is related to instructor Pavel's departure.
Should this escalate any further we will have to close the forum temporarily not to let it affect lesson updates.
My apologies for this development!
Kristofer

Well. Put yourself in Kris's place. He is an entrepreneur who really came up with a great product. But like all of us, he is earning a living. He has to protect his business if he feels something is going on that might effect it. We all would do the same. It is just reasonable.
You don't go up to customers in a store and tell them to go down the street to another shop do you? Outside the store, sure fine, but on somebody's personal turf, one needs to show more respect to the owner.

It's as simple as that.

I know this thing is only a few days old.. but really.. There is no need to drag it on.. It will just make you(The reader ) look unprofessional and plain dumb.. No low blows needed..
It all started with a competitor.. so if you like them check them out and thats it no need to say.. Man I saw GMC members there!! No need for extra drama.
If we keep talking about this - then both sites could get in a bit of trouble.

Who are the banned ones? I think that as paying customers, we've the right to know.

We already get quality videos and a good community..
They need their privacy as a site/company too.

I just wondered - are there any Terms of Use you must agree to when you sign up on GMC?
Posted by: Kristofer Dahl Mar 19 2008, 10:55 PM
Ok sorry for the confusion - this has cleared a little to me now!
Here is the page that has been spread on msn:
http://www.paveldenisjuk.com/truth/
Everything Pavel states on this page is true (as of 2008-03-19, 23:08 Stockholm time). I did my very best for this not get out to the public for Pavel's sake (working for a competitor for six month behind our back surely can't be something to be proud of).
This is now a very sad story and I will close this thread.
