That's awful! If it were my dog attacking another dog, I'd pull away my own and stay to make sure the other one was okay ohmy.gif

I wish your K9-shredder a quick recovery =)

I know the feeling, when I was a kid I had a basset hound that I loved, a friend of my father's had a Argentinian Dogo that didn't seem to be an aggressive dog. My little dog went near the Dogo to smell him and the Dogo grabbed my dog by the neck and started smashing it and moving to kill it, I thought my dog was dead but he was knocked out from the smashing and the Dogo let him go, My little dog almost died and it was a horrible experience, luckily he survived. But I was so angry at the Dogo, I wanted to kill the Dogo. Awful experience

Anyway I am sure your dog will get better but I would try to get the owner of the other dog to cover some of the expenses of the vet.

Thanks for the comments guys smile.gif Dog is doing good and acting like a wounded diva. He's getting too comfortable with all the treats wink.gif

There's been some good developments actually. My sister was out again, and came across the dogowner again. He had apparantly been out looking for her/the dog and was interested in how the dog was doing and will cover the vet-expenses. Seems like he ran off to get the dog away.

Well, havent paid yet, but atleast we got some more details and got a confirmation on who it is smile.gif
