Help With Soloing

Hello ive recently been struggling to master shredding and soloing of that sorts and i cant seem to keep a good pattern so that i can get faster and faster, and all that happens is i start playing and i get all mixed up and hit the wrong strings and notes. Can anyone give me some tips or good advise to help me maintain a steady pattern so i can advance in soloing.

Hello everyone im Dan from the United States, and im 13. Ive been playing guitar for about three years. Although im an intermidiate almost advanced player i havnt really been getting much anywhere in soloing. So i decided to get on this great site which is helping me alot! Im trying my best to work on metal guitar soloing and shredding and cool stuff like that. So if anyone could give me some tips id be thankful.
