so i want to know what do u think about this 2 pedals
i play heavy metal, thrash metal, speed metal, neoclassical metal and sometimes blues
PD: Sorry for my bad english :S
Hi Gustavo,
you might want to take a look at Uncreator's review of the Digitech DG7 metal distortion pedal thingy elsewhere on the board as that sounds like it might be really good for you. Boss DD6 delay is v good but also look at the cheaper DD3. If you possibly can try them out first though.
By the way - your English is more then good enough.
Cheers,
Tony
I have used an MT-2 and its currently my metal pedal of choice. Its got great range and it sounds awsome! id recommend this for mettall but i can't help you with the delay. Iam researching a multi effects pedal, something like the Boss GT-8, i like my effects all in one place and i might scrap my MT2 pritty soon
I know Pavel uses that Digitech Distortion Factory and he rates it pretty high,i think that would be my choice in your situation
would a pod xt live produce a better sounding distortion? i'm thinking about buying.. i'm almost about to part with my money but i need some more convincing first
thx guys
so i gonna buy the mt-2 and the dd-3 thx
for a an overdrive pedal...i personally would go with the Fulltone OCD..a boutiqe style pedal
http://www.fulltone.com/ocd.asp
as for delay...if you can find one off ebay...I would go with the Boss that has the external time foot tap pedal, i think it's the DD-5.
i've heard really great things about the Eventide TimeFactor...but it's like $350

I have the Boss MT 2 metal zone and a Boss DD5 Digital delay. They are both good pedals, although I only use the delay when recording something on the 4 track that I can play over. It has some cool settings and you can almost get a loop sound out of it.
