Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

I decided to use the backing track with the second guitar in the background because it accompanies the pre-chorus. Should I post a take without the second guitar in the backing?

Now I can see it!! Well played!!! I think you have the feel and vibe of the track. Also, it's good to see you using full vibrato. Like your other vid it's no tepid or weak. It's nice and wide. I see you using one finger in some of the vibrato which is a good thing to be able to do. Also try to use more than one finger sometimes for more power in the vibrato. It's best to be able to use one finger or multiple fingers just depending on what is being played and how you want it to sound.

Good strikes by your picking hand. Not weak or soft, good strong pick strikes. Your hand synch is good as well. This is a good lessons to pick for your current level. It's one that you can play and learn a bit from. I think you are ready to tackle one from the next level if you want to!
I do notice a pinch of lag on your playing in spots but it's not enough to prevent me from enjoying your take. I can hear that you are playing this with feeling and intent, which is crucial. Well done. Solid 8 from me.
