ok, I'm confused.

I have been looking at this from a "we have 4 weeks and thats all she wrote" point of view.

Who knows if the program will continue? If so, will you and I still be assigned? Those kinds of questions have been in the back of my mind. This new list is far more than 2 weeks of work for me.

Are you saying that you and I will be going forward indefinitely on this stuff? Assuming that the MTP keeps rolling and I am assigned to work with you for as long as we both want to?

Hmm, I know you wont be able to finish all this exercises in the end of our 4 week period. But think about this, lets say I had a car accident tomorrow and I died. Wouldnt you be able to work on Losfer Words and AIC exercise by yourself? Yes you would. So lets say we couldnt finish some of those exercises at the end of week nr 4. But we would already have covered basics, and you would be in phase of speeding them up.

And also after the 4 week period, even I dont get to be amongs the chosen ones ( a la matrix tongue.gif ) I wont die, or quit GMC in an anger strike, so I will still be here, you can always ask questions about everything, I will try to answer you without the title of "mentor" but under the title "friend". I really think you are my friend, dont you?

Lets concentrate on the task in our hands, we will progress slowly with the program, so nothing is said and done biggrin.gif You have still 2 days before new assignments, and our schedule isnt written on stone so we will adjust in time as you and me see it fit ok? laugh.gif

Can

He he, we reached 1.666 views bro, substract that silly 1.000 and we have the 1 for you and me laugh.gif

Its all good.

I was concerned about leaving a bunch of open ends at the end of the "official 4 weeks" but if you arent thats cool.

It'll be nice to stop worrying about the passing time and just practice.

I am sidelining my Wednesday night engagement until we are done with the 4wk program. Though I will be away on Friday this week.

Losfer Words

Still making the same number of random errors. Though I did speed it up a tad this time. I did it 2x faster than this but I made too many mistakes so I backed it down some.

Faster than last time though.

These exercises rock! Only the problem is some errors on Losfer. Try to work individually on parts that you make errors the most like main theme, and the part after the open high E string run.

AIC is ok with that speed. Try to speed it up.

And are you having problems with bends? If so you may try to work on this exercise:

Slow Bending Licks

This a very easy and short exercise, you can try this. Its from Kris biggrin.gif

Some bending I do. These bends followed by 2 notes together are tough. As I have to bend release and hit the other 2 notes quickly and often the 2nd 2 notes are out of whack since they are bent slightly as well. So to keep the 2nd 2 notes clear the bend is sacrificed.... Does that make sense?

What should my agenda be for tonight?

10min warmup

20 min _____

20 min _____

20 min _____

I work SOOOOOOOO much better if I have manageable chunks to look at. Versus that huge list.

Can you put something together?

As you wish bro here is tonights list:

10 min Warmup

20 min Losfer Words consisting of
-----10 min Continious practice of the main theme melody and the part that comes after the open high e string
-----10 min Whole song at current speed (tempo of last video)

20 min AIC exercise
-----10 min getting used to solo part with speed increase (a little faster than the speed on video)
-----10 min whole exercise (combining the solo and the rhythm parts)

20 min Kris' Slow bending Licks

5-10 mins taking the Videos and editing etc.

Is that ok?

For Tomorrow night I'll rewrite that training program (possibly make a substitude of Losfer with Trooper Intro and melody parts)

Perfect.

Thanks!

For "Continious practice of the main theme melody" do you mean the part the song starts with? The A string riff? Or the solo part that happens twice?

By that I mean solo part that happens twice (the dual guitar harmony actually)

I'm making a drum/bass backing of Losfer Words at full speed, -10 bpm and -20 bpm

WHOOO HOOO! Just knocked one out at -10 BPM and I'm pretty pleased with it. Just a couple of tiny errors. The solo parts are WAY better. I still dont have the ending but thats cuz I really havent spent enough time on it. I can clean that up no prob.

Uploading now.

youtube isnt taking my video... unknown errors.... Trying again. If it doesnt take again I'll put it on my site for download.

Just made a backing for the AIC lesson. -10 -20 and -30 bpm speeds.

Goodbye GUITAR PRO!!!!!!!

What I did on the last AIC video was -30 BPM

I'll do tonight at -20
